With 35+ years of expertise and IATF 16949 certification specifically scoped to die casting parts manufacturing, we produce precision zinc and aluminum components for industrial locks, automotive hardware, EV charging infrastructure, and custom OEM projects.

The Process

Die casting is a manufacturing process where molten metal is injected under high pressure into a reusable steel mold (die). The result is a near-net-shape part with excellent dimensional accuracy, smooth surface finish, and complex geometries that would be impossible or prohibitively expensive with other methods.

At Hengchieh, we specialize in both hot-chamber (zinc) and cold-chamber (aluminum) die casting. Our zinc die casting machines (25T to 88T) produce the lock bodies, handles, and latches that are our core products. Our 280T aluminum machine handles larger structural parts like heat sinks and enclosure housings.

Every die-cast part goes through deburring, machining (if required), surface treatment, and quality inspection before leaving our facility. Our IATF 16949 certification covers the entire die casting process chain.

IATF 16949 certified

Our IATF 16949:2016 certification specifically covers die casting parts manufacturing — this is the automotive industry's highest quality management standard. Every die-cast component follows a controlled process with full material traceability, statistical process control (SPC), and documented inspection at each stage.

Post-casting inspection includes dimensional measurement (2D optical imaging), surface quality checks, X-ray fluorescence for material composition verification, and salt spray testing for corrosion resistance validation. Parts requiring plating or coating undergo additional thickness measurement before shipment.
